An 83-year-old woman has appeared in court accused of murdering an 85-year-old man in a "highly usual case".
Marjorie Grayson, 83, of Orgreave Lane, Sheffield, is charged with the murder of Alan Grayson.
Police have said Mr Grayson was pronounced dead at a house in the Handsworth area of Sheffield last Thursday.
Officers said he died as a result of stab wounds.
Grayson appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday via video link from prison.
Describing the case as "highly unusual", Judge Jeremy Richardson QC remanded her in custody to appear again on November 16.
The judge said a trial, which is expected to last for six days, will take place on March 5, 2019.
