A three-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a car in West Yorkshire.
Police said a Vauxhall Astra was travelling along Violet Street towards Hanson Lane in Halifax when it struck the youngster.
The boy, who has not yet been named, was taken to Calderdale Royal Infirmary where he was pronounced dead.
West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened at about 15:20 GMT on Tuesday, to contact them.
