A teenager's died and 2 others are hurt after being electrocuted on the railway at Wakefield.
The 15-year-old boy's believed to have climbed on to a freight train and come into contact with overhead power lines at Wrenthorpe Sidings at around 6.40pm on Saturday night (11th July 2015)
He was treated by paramedics, but pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl, who were with the boy at the time and also suffered injuries, are being treated at Pinderfields Hospital.
British Transport Police said:
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of his death, although at this stage it would appear that the two boys and the female were on the railway line and the 15-year-old boy had climbed on to a freight train at the location and came in to contact with the power lines.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A file will be prepared for the local coroner and the Office of Rail Regulation has been informed and will carry out its own investigation."
