Murder Investigation In Barnsley

Police say they’ve launched a murder inquiry after a woman was found dead at a house in Barnsley.

Officers were called to a home on Upperwood Road in Darfield yesterday afternoon, where they found a woman’s body and a man with stab wounds.

The 35 year old woman died at the house and the 42 year old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, he’s in a stable condition.

The 42 year old was then arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in hospital.

A post Mortem will take place later today to find the cause of death.
