Police investigating a shooting in Chapeltown have released 5 men on bail.
All 5 were arrested on Thursday on suspicion of violent disorder.
Officers were called to the park that rus alongside Savile Drive at 7:20pm last night following reports that groups of men were fighting, when they got there the men had dispersed.
A short time later officers were told a 56-year-old man was attending at hospital with a gun shot wound to his foot.
Police believe the gun shot wound and the disturbance on Savile Drive are linked and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The 56-year-old man remains in hospital this morning but his injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
An area around the park and the junction between Chapeltown Road and Saville Drive remain cordoned off this morning while forensic examination of the scene continues.
