Man killed by train in Leeds

A man has been killed by a train at Leeds rail station.

He was hit by the 12:01 Bradford to Leeds service near Platform 3. Ambulance crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.

British Transport Police are not treating the death as suspicious. There were delays of up to an hour to services in and out of Leeds at one point.

Trains are now running normally.
