Man Killed In Sheffield Shooting

A man has died after an incident at a Sheffield community centre in the early hours of Sunday.

At around 2.40am emergency services were called to Spital Hill following a report of a person being shot.

A man was taken to Northern General Hospital but died a short time later.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers are searching a row of shops and cafes in the area.

The man will not be formally identified until after the post mortem.

Most of Spital Hill and roads surrounding Burngreave will be closed until Monday afternoon.
