Man Dies in Rotherham Explosion

After an explosion at a recycling plant in Rotherham, a man has died overnight and another is seriously injured.
The 42 year old was airlifted to hospital after the explosion at Sterecycle Waste Plant in Rotherham on Tuesday afternoon, but later died of his injuries. A 50 year old man from Barnsley also has "potentially life-changing injuries" to his head and body.
Police say the men were hurt when a waste incinerator exploded, creating a hole in the side of the factory and causing damage to parked cars across the road. An investigation is underway and the plant has been temporarily shut down.
