Man Dies After Doncaster House Fire

A man has died following a house fire in Doncaster last night.
Fire crews were called out to Church Road, Denaby Main at around 19:10 yesterday evening, and found a property well alight and heavily smoke logged.
Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the property and rescued a man, he was unconscious.
He was transported to hospital but later died, suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
A joint investigation between the fire service and South Yorkshire Police has begun to work out how the fire started.
