Man Arrested In Wombwell Murder Investigation

Police investigating the death of John Gogarty have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.

The 48 year-old from Barnsley was detained this morning and is currently being questioned.

Officers were called to a house in Marsh Street, Wombwell, at around 4pm on Friday 17 July where they found the body of 65-year-old Mr Gogarty.
