Police are investigating after two men were beaten up by a gang in Scunthorpe.
It happened on Downing Crescent in Scunthorpe in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Two men went into the house after a night out and found five unknown men inside, some of them looked to be carrying baseball bats.
The two men, aged 53 and 55 years old, were then allegedly attacked by the group, they suffered arm, leg and head injuries.
After the assault the men stole a watch and a mobile phone from the house before leaving.
Detective Sergeant for North Lincolnshire Dean Minter said:
"Police have conducted house to house enquiries in the area. It is thought the men may have entered Downing Crescent from the direction of Cambridge Avenue, so anyone who may have seen them in the area is asked to call police.
"It is vital that anyone with information, not matter how detailed it may be, contacts Humberside Police as soon as possible. The men who were victims in this nasty incident, are lucky to not have sustained more significant injuries and have thankfully now been released from hospital.
