Doncaster Teen Found dead

Police looking for a missing 13 year old Doncaster boy say they have found a body.

A major police operation was launched after the body was discovered close to the Boulevard in Edenthorpe.

Ambulance crews tried to revive the teenager but he was pronounced dead.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Formal identification procedures will take place but officers investigating are linking this to the 13-year-old boy recently reported missing in Doncaster.

“An investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. At this stage it is too early to determine the cause of death or confirm the identity of the male.”
