Police are appealing for witnesses after a 23-year-old man died following a collision between a 4x4 and a pedal cycle near Tickhill yesterday evening.
A silver Land Rover Freelander and a silver Carrera pedal bike were both travelling from Rossington towards Tickhill on Stripe Road just after 8.05pm yesterday (Thursday, 8 September).

The pedal cyclist, a 23-year-old Bawtry man, sustained fatal head injuries from the collision. The driver of the Freelander, an 85-year-old local man, was not injured.
The cause of the collision is unknown at this time. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and for information about the movements of both vehicles prior to the collision.
Anyone with information is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 0114 2202020.
