Candlelit Vigil For Murdered Casey

Hundreds of people have turned out at Elmfield Park in Doncaster for a vigil for murdered teen Casey-Lyanne Kearney.


Friends and relatives of Casey-Lyanne lit candles, released Chinese lanterns and stood in silence as they remembered the teenager.

The 13 year old was found lying fatally injured in Elmfield Park in Doncaster, on Tuesday afternoon after dialling 999 for help. She was taken to hospital but later died.

26 year old Hannah Bonser, appeared at Doncaster Magistrates' Court charged with Casey's murder and was remanded in custody. She's at Sheffield Crown Court on February 23rd.

A number of flowers and tributes have been left at the entrance to the park.
