Bradford Man Dies At York Races

A 21 year old man from Bradford's died after falling from a stand at York Races.

It happened at around 5.30pm yesterday, Saturday 25th May when the man fell from the Knavesmire Stand

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Inspector Charlotte Bloxham, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
"Although we do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances and are treating the death as a tragic accident, I am appealing to anyone who was in the Knavesmire Stand at the time to contact the police."

Anyone with information about the incident us asked to contact York police on 101, select option 1 and pass the details to the Force Control Room.
