Bradford Homes Evacuated After Fire

Residents had to be evacuated from their homes last night following a major fire at a garage.

More than 60 homes were evacuated after acetylene cylinders were found near a fire at a garage on Woodhall Terrace, in the Thornbury area, on Wednesday.

People have been away from their homes since emergency services arrived yesterday at around 4:15pm.

Firefighters are still there and they have set up a 200m cordon and roads are expected to be closed until 4pm today.
