Boy Arrested over Assault in Kirby Fleetham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious head injuries after an assault at the Black Horse Pub in Kirby Fleetham in the early hours of Wednesday 21 December 2011.
The 66-year-old man was admitted to the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton at around 1.30am and was later airlifted to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Police are appealing to witnesses and anyone who was in the Black Horse pub in Kirby Fleetham on the evening of Tuesday 20 December and into the early hours of Wednesday 21 December 2011 to get in touch.
