Body found in River Ouse Is Missing York Man

The body of a man found at the Naburn Marina is missing York teenager Jordan Sullivan.

Police confirmed the body had been recovered from the River Ouse shortly after 4pm on Wednesday.

A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “We can confirm that the body recovered from Naburn Marina on the River Ouse at just after 4pm on Wednesday 14 March 2012, is that of Jordan Sullivan.

“It is anticipated that the inquest into his death will be opened and adjourned on Tuesday 20 March 2012.”

19 year old Jordan, was last seen running naked towards the river ouse at Naburn on Valentines day.
