Barnsley Dad Remanded In Custody Over Son's Murder

A 24 year old man from Barnsley has been remanded in custody after appearing in court earlier. He is charged with killing his seven week old son in September.

Kieron Hutchinson died at Sheffield Children's Hospital four days after an incident in Chapeltown.

Ian Hutchinson appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court charged with the boy's murder earlier.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Friday.
