Barnsley Boy, 10, Hit By Car
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 10-year-old boy collided with a car on William Street in Wosborough.
At about 7.25pm on Thursday, 14th July, a silver Vauxhall Corsa driven by a 23-year-old woman was travelling along William Street towards Park Road, when the boy on a bicycle rode onto William Street from a side road and collided with the nearside of the car.
The boy, from Wosborough, was left with a a head injury and fractured leg and was taken to Barnsley District General Hospital.
The driver of the car, also from Wosborough was not hurt.
Police are appealing for witness to the collision or the events leading up to it. Anyone with information should call 0114 2202020.
