Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to identify following a street robbery in Leeds.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was getting money from a cashpoint outside the Yorkshire Bank, on York Road, and had his baby in a pram when he was approached from behind by the man.
The attacker put his arm around the victim's throat and demanded the money.
There was then a struggle, before a man who was passing with a woman intervened causing the attacker to rip a £10 note that the victim was holding on to in half before he ran off down Raincliffe Street.
During the struggle, the victim let go of the pram which began freewheeling towards the busy dual carriageway but was stopped by the man and woman.
The offender was described as black or mixed race, aged about 26, 5ft 10ins tall, with black hair and a goatee beard. He was wearing a black coat, white tracksuit bottoms and black and white trainers.
The incident happened at about 4pm on Sunday, April 12.
PC Peter Armstrong, of Leeds District Neighbourhood Crime Team, said:
"This was clearly a really distressing incident for the victim particularly given his baby was put at risk by the offender's actions.
"I would like to hear urgently from anyone who recognises the man shown in the CCTV footage. I would also like to trace the man and woman who intervened to stop the pram and assist the victim.
