7 Year Old In Life Threatening Condition After Sheffield Accident

A seven year old girl's in a life threatening condition in hospital after an accident in Sheffield.
It happened on Shirland Lane just after 5pm yesterday evening, she crossed the road on a scooter from in front of a parked car and collided with the side of a black Vauxhall Astra.
The seven-year-old local girl was taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital with a broken pelvis, fractured leg and serious head injury, described as ‘life-threatening’.
The Astra driver, a 61-year-old Handsworth man, was not injured.
