3 Women Die In Leeds Crash

A crash in Leeds has killed 3 people.

It happened just before 7:30pm near Harewood last night at the junction between Weardley Lane and Otley Road when a Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with a HGV.

The driver of the corsa, a 58-year-old woman, and an 85-year-old female, who was the front seat passenger, both died at the scene.

The third occupant of the Corsa, an 84-year-old female, has now died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. 

She died in Leeds General Infirmary earlier this afternoon (July 21)

The occupants of the vehicle are all believed to have come from outside the force area.

The driver of the HGV was not injured in the incident.
