Men Bailed Over Sheffield Stabbing

Two men arested over the murder of a Sheffield dad have been bailed by police.

The 19 and 22 year olds arrested this week on suspicion of the murder of Joshua Green have now been released pending further enquiries.

27-year-old, Sheffield dad, Joshua Green was stabbed during a New Year's Eve party on Queens Road, Sheffield, in the early hours of Sunday, 1st January.

South Yorkshire police say they are still working on the murder investigation are continuing with forensic and CCTV examinations

Police are also concentrating on tracing potential witnesses who were in the club on Queens Road, at the time of the assaults.

Detective Superintendent Andy Thompson said: "We're progressing with the investigation and have identified a number of people who were at the party in which Joshua Green was stabbed.

"However, this will take some time due to the number of party goers present. We'd still like anyone who was out at the club that night, to please come forward to help."
