2 women aged 21 and 47 have been arrested on suspicion of negelct after a the death of a baby in Halifax.
Police were called out to Spring Hall Gardens at 1 am on Thursday 12 December after reports of concern for safety of a baby there.
The child was taken to hospital where he later died.
The two women were arrested, questioned and bailed.
Detective Superintendent Simon Beldon said:
"We are in the very early stages of our investigation but following initial enquiries have arrested two women in connection with the death of a baby boy from Halifax.
I would urge anyone who thinks they could have information that may be beneficial to come forward."
