Man Admits Newport Murder

A man has admitted the murder of his girlfriend whose body was found in a bath in Newport.

28-year-old Kristopher Mitchell from Newport pleaded guilty to killing Jessica Watkins at his home.

A tribute from the 21 year old's family said: "She was tragically taken from us to soon.

"She will always be loved by us all."

Sentencing was adjourned to allow for psychiatric reports.
