A nun from Portsmouth, who spends much of her day in silence, has just signed up to Twitter.
Sister Elizabeth Pio mainly tweets about #prayers and #God but has also recently posted about Euro 2012.
As of Wednesday morning (27th June), her @bethanysister account had more than 500 followers.
The 41-year-old is using the site on behalf of the Sisters of Bethany, an Anglican order who spend hours each day in silent reflection.
Some of her recent tweets include: "We're together 6 times a day 2 pray on behalf of the world. Let us know if you need us 2 talk to God for you about anything in particular."
And: "If you ever get downhearted remember that you're perfect in your imperfection. #Jesus calls the sick not the well! Yes!!"
She feels it's important to show that nuns and monks can use current technology and that they're not so far behind the times.
