A charge to use public toilets is one of the ideas that's going to be discussed by Chichester District Council.
You could soon have to pay to go to the toilet in Chichester.
The district council's going to discuss a charge of 20p for the public loos in the city.
It's one of a number of ideas that they're looking at to try to save money.
A spokesperson for Chichester District Council says: “The council has not decided to start charging for public toilets. However, we regularly review our services to make sure we are continuing to provide the best value for money for taxpayers.
A ‘forward plan’ is produced every month, which outlines the decisions expected to be made by the council’s Cabinet during the next four months. In the forward plan released this month, there are details on a number of options regarding public conveniences. However, these are just ideas at the moment and may or may not go forward for the Cabinet to consider.”
