A new report claims more than 270,000 people in Hamphire and 200,000 in Dorset have no idea what they owe on their credit cards.
One in ten finish the month with no cash left in the bank, and nearly a third of us are still relying on our parents to bail us out.
According to the Equifax study, for every two people on the south coast, one will be overdrawn at least once during the year, and a quarter will be in the red at least once a month.
