Four men have been arrested after a man with a gun robbed a Portsmouth corner shop.
Police were called to the Copnor Mini Mart on Copnor Road shortly before 9.20pm on Thursday 7 November.
Three men had entered the store and bought a chocolate bar. A short time later one of the men returned, discreetly showing what appeared to be a small firearm in the waistband of his trousers. He demanded cash and £30 was handed over by the
cashier.
The man left and walked off with the other two men northbound along Copnor Road.
Four men from Portsmouth aged 22, 23, 24 and 31 have been arrested. They remain in police custody.
Detective Constable Lucia Davies said:
"We know that customers were in the store before and after the incident. We would be keen to trace these people along with anyone who was in the vicinity of Copnor Road at the junction of Powerscourt Road around the time of the incident."
