A 17-year-old girl's in hospital with serious injuries after two cars collided north of Winchester.
Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses following the serious collision on the A33 at Kings Worthy last night (Tuesday 2 June).
A red Nissan Micra was in collision with a red Peugeot 406 on the southbound carriageway close to the junction with the A34, shortly before 7pm.
The front seat passenger in the Micra, a 17-year-old girl from Basingstoke, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with what were described at the time as life-threatening injuries. She is now in a serious but stable condition.
The Micra driver, a 22-year-old man, and a 17-year-old man in the back seat, both of whom are from Basingstoke, suffered minor injuries.
The driver and front seat passenger in the Peugeot, two men, aged 62 and 60, from Winchester, also suffered minor injuries.
The southbound carriageway of the A33 was closed at that section until shortly before midnight.
Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or who saw either of the vehicles driving prior to it.
