More than 40 years since it opened Fawley Power Station near Southampton has been closed down.
It's been shut as part of Government plans to replace our power stations with new, more green and efficient ones.
The facility, run by RWE npower, opened in 1971 and once powered millions on homes.
It will now take 2 years to fully decommission the site, with some staff staying on to carry out the process. Other staff have been moved to new jobs within the company.
