Three people have been injured after a car crashed into the side of a Pub in Portsmouth.
It happened at around 3.56pm on Saturday April 2nd. A BMW car was involved in the collision with The Mermaid Pub in New Road. A woman sitting inside the building at the time suffered minor injuries. Two other people, a male driver in his 30's and a female front seat passenger in her 20's, were taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for over an hour while emergency services were at scene.
PC Karen Drysdale of Hampshire Road Policing Unit said:
"I would like to thank colleagues from Hampshire fire and rescue services and south central ambulance team, who worked well together responding to this collision- also grateful to members of the public who assisted in our enquiries. We remain keen to hear from any other witness about this collision or the movements of the BMW beforehand."
