Police investigating a large fight in Northumberland Road, Southampton, made four arrests on the night of the incident.
Just after midday on Saturday, October 22, police were called to reports of the fight. It is thought around seven or eight people were involved, and three men were injured and taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to injuries sustained during the altercation.
Four arrests were made:
-A 35-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of affray and released without charge
-A 31-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of affray and released without charge
-A 34-year-old woman from Totton was arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed, to return on January 3
-A 30-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed, to return on January 3
Detective Constable Esra Phillipson-Masters said:
"This incident took place in the middle of the day, and as well as people going about their business we believe there was also a football training session happening nearby, so there will have been a number of people who may have seen something and we're appealing for any of those witnesses to contact us."
