A teenager has been arrested after a train hit a vehicle in West Lothian.
Emergency services were called to the incident near Uphall station just after 5pm on Wednesday.
The vehicle, a pick-up truck, was extensively damaged but the train was not derailed.
The driver of the 16.39 Edinburgh to Milngavie service involved was not injured.
British Transport Police (BTP) today said a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He is expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday.
Work to trace a second man is ongoing, BTP said.
