Scottish And Youth Unemployment Up Again

Unemployment figures released this morning show that more people are out of work than the previous 3 months.

The number of 18 to 24 year olds out of work gone up by 16,000 UK wide.

Overall unemployment has increased by 28,000 between November and January - to 2.67 million

The Scottish unemployment rate now sits at 8.7%, thats up 6000 on the previous quarter.

234,000 Scots are now jobless.
