Man Badly Hurt After Glasgow Disturbance

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a disturbance in Glasgow city centre.

Police were called to Argyle Street near the Argyll Arcade at around 1am on Saturday.

Officers attended and found an injured 32-year-old man who was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Medical staff describe his condition as life-threatening.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested and detained and is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
