Man Arrested For Glasgow Shooting

Police investigating a shooting near a school in Glasgow last year have arrested a man.

The 55 year old has been detained in connection with the incident in Dornoch Place in Bishopbriggs on 24th September 2015.

It's being treated as attempted murder.

A 34 year old man was hurt at the time for the shooting near St Helen's Primary.

It happened just after 3:00pm, while pupils and parents made their way home.

The man detained is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
