Man Arrested After Edinburgh Rape

A man has been charged following an alleged rape in Edinburgh.

The serious sexual assault is said to have taken place in the Water of Leith area during the early hours of Saturday.

A 22-year-old is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Police Scotland have thanked the public for coming forward with information.
