First Ministers Gave Trump "Assurances"

American tycoon Donald Trump has slammed Jack McConnell and Alex Salmond over their wind energy policies.

The billionaire said both First Ministers gave him assurances that the wind power turbines would not be built off the coast of his Aberdeen golf course.

The U.S Apprentice star turned his fire on Mr Salmond on numerous occasions.

When questioned why people should believe him and not the First Minister, he said " Salmond seems to be denying a lot of things just now...".

That was a reference to the Leveson revelations yesterday.

Trump, who considered running for President last year, said had he known the wind turbines would be built, he would've built his course in Ireland instead.
