Man In Intensive Care After County Durham Assault

A man's been charged with assault after another man was left in intensive care after an attack in Crook.
A 43 year old man suffered head injuries in the assault at a house in Sycamore Gardens, Crook, on Friday 20th April.
He was taken to be treated in intensive care at the RVI in Newcastle where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
24 year old Christopher Morgan's been charged with section 18 assault and will appear before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on Monday (23rd April).
