Man Charged Over Suspected Durham Hit And Run

A man's been charged over a suspected hit and run in Durham.

37 year old Dean Laing from Gilesgate was found dead in Durham City at the weekend.

His body was found between two parked cars in Claypath in the early hours of Saturday morning (10th November).

Tests found he died of head injuries.

A 37-year-old man from County Durham's been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

He's due before Durham City Magistrates this morning (Monday 12th November)
