Man Arrested Over Fatal A19 Crash

A man's been arrested after a crash which left a man dead and two others seriously hurt on the A19 near Thornaby.
The 25 year old's being held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The A19 remains closed in both directions while collision investigation work continues.
Police would like to thank motorists for their co-operation and patience as the road closure is likely to remain in place for several hours.
At around 5:25am this morning police were called to reports of a collision between two articulated lorries and a Ford Focus Zetec on the A19 south bound just before the A174.
