Two Charged Over Abuse Of Manchester Schoolgirl

Two people have been charged following a historic abuse investigation carried out by Greater Manchester Police.

Michael Brewer of Swartmore Road, Selly Oak in Birmingham has been charged with rape and six counts of indecent assault.

Hilary Brewer of Knowl Gap Avenue, Rossendale, Lancashire, has been charged with rape and indecent assault.

They are due before Manchester City Magistrates' Court on 7 May 2012.

The pair, who were married at the time, are accused of allegedly abusing and raping a girl at school in Manchester and at a house in Chorlton when she was aged between 13 and 18.
