Police in Stockport are appealing for witnesses - after a woman was sexually assaulted after getting home from a night out with friends.
The 35-year-old got back to Bramhall some time between 12:45am and 1:30am on Monday 22 August.
She realised she'd left her mobile phone in her car, so went out to get it.
As she closed the car door she was pushed and dragged to the bonnet of the vehicle - and was then sexually assaulted.
Her attacker's described as being white, in his late 30s or early 40s, 5' 8" tall, of medium build and with broad shoulders. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark jeans and spoke with a Manchester accent.
Detective Constable Fiona Barnes from the Serious Sexual Offences Unit in Stockport said: "The victim has obviously been left extremely upset and traumatised by this assault. We are dedicated to finding and arresting this man and would urge anyone who may have witnessed the assault or saw anything suspicious to contact police as soon as possible".
