Openshaw: 10 Arrested in Drugs Raids

10 people have been arrested during drugs raids in Openshaw, which also saw three cannabis farms discovered and destroyed.
The seven men and three women were all arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
One man, Brian Mulligan, 43-year-old Brian Mulligan, from Hovis Street in Openshaw, has been charged with cultivating cannabis.
Police found and destroyed three cannabis farms and seized around £3,500 in cash.
Inspector Neil McClure said: "Drug dealing and drugs related crime, such as burglary, robbery and vehicle crime, is a long term issue for Manchester.
"The vast majority of people living in Openshaw are law-abiding members of the community and we would urge those people to continue to report suspicious activity so that we act on it."
