Man Stabbed In Oldham

Police are investigating a stabbing in Oldham.

Early this morning police were called to Springwood Hall Road following reports a man had been stabbed.

They found a 32 year old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening at this stage.

A 36 year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody for questioning.
