A man has been arrested in the Netherlands on suspicion of murdering a woman in Bolton.
On Monday police were called to Queen Street in Farnworth by the ambulance service where they found the Kelly's body.
A Home Office post-mortem examination has provisionally found that Kelly died from stab wounds. Toxicology results are expected in a few weeks time.
Today, a 35 year old man was arrested in the Netherlands by Dutch police. Arrangements will be made for him to be brought to Greater Manchester.
Detective Inspector Chris Bridge said: “Our thoughts remain with Kelly's family, with whom we have been in regular contact since this tragic incident.
“Over the last few days, we have had to work very closely with the Serious Organised Crime Agency and our counterparts in the Netherlands, and we are very grateful to them for their assistance.
