Heywood flats Arson- Man Charged
Police have arrested a man after a fire at a block of flats in Heywood.
35-year-old Daniel Byrom, of High Street in Heywood, is charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
He is due to appear at Bury Magistrates’ Court on Monday 16 January 2012.
Shortly before 11pm on Friday 13th January, police were called to High Street following reports of a fire.
Officers found a fire had been started inside the block of flats.
A number of people, including a woman and her six-month old baby, were treated for smoke inhalation.
