Alderly Edge Crash Victims Named

47 year old Liyakat Sidat, Salma Sidat, who was 41, and 14 year old Hajra Sidat were from Old Trafford.

At 12.04am on Sunday 4th November emergency services were called to a serious collision on the A34 Melrose Way in Alderley Edge.

The collision involved a car and a minibus. 

A number of casualties from the minibus were treated at the scene and taken to hospital.

14 year old Hajra was one of two people who died at the scene. 

Two others in the car – a nine-year-old girl and a 19-year-old woman – are currently in hospital.
